Hey there, I’ll probably cross-post this in the r/ADHD channel, but I wanted to see if anyone had any book reccs for organizing the home for adults with executive dysfunction. I have ADHD and some chronic illnesses, and my partner is on the ASD spectrum and also has some issues with executive dysfunction.
I loved ‘Keeping House While Drowning’ by KC Davis, and I’d love to find more books like this, but also some more visual books for ideas to improve efficiency, flow, and reduce the heft of a lot of chores and household tasks.
I’m new to DIY, but I would like to learn about it if I can both save $$$ and not get overwhelmed and consequently, end up getting all the things needed for it and then not doing the actual thing.
On this note, I would also take reccs on books for ADHDers, HSPs (highly sensitive people), and those with chronic illnesses/fatigue/inflammation who want a nice clean and cozy house but don’t necessarily have a bunch of energy or funds to do so.
I know this is niche, but I believe in the resourcefulness of this committed group of Redditors. Thanks fam!
