I’m doing a reading challenge for my library, and for some reason “an adventure” is the prompt I’m having the hardest time with. The only adventure I can think of that I’ve read and loved is Miss Benson’s Beetle by Rachel Joyce (I love her I’ve read every book she’s written).
I prefer character-driven books. I don’t need to love the characters as people but I do need to be able to understand them and feel for them. Lighthearted or emotional or a combination of both is good. I’m not in the mood for anything that will stress me out.
