Hi, my 16 year old (step)daughter has agreed to read books with me instead of scrolling social media. She said she would read more if I find her a wonderful romance novel about two teenage girls falling in love with each other. She loves teenage and young adult romance movies, so I am hoping this will convert her to being a reader! Older characters would be fine too as long as it is a good romance. She is allowed -and encouraged – to read anything that interests her, so no worries about age appropriateness – she will decide which books we get for her.
What wonderful, romantic, touching books with first love between two girls would you reccomend?
Also, she loves true crime and crime mysteries. Is there any book or series about a young woman solving crimes and mysteries, like a modern day Nancy Drew, who happens to also be a lesbian? She would adore that!
