I am in an audiobook rut and am craving non-fiction. When I read non-fiction, I mostly read true crime and science/tech.
When I read fiction I mostly like mysteries/thrillers and horror. But I want something lighthearted after a string of heavy reads.
The themes can still be dark, but I want it to be more emotionally easy lol.
Examples of recent nonfiction books I have enjoyed:
– No Stone Unturned by Steven Jackson
– Killers of the Flower Moon
– I’m glad my mom died
“Lighthearted” fiction books I have enjoyed:
– A Psalm for the wild built
– Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine
– A southern book club’s guide to slaying vampires
“Lighthearted” nonfiction I have enjoyed:
– stay sexy and don’t get murdered
– the disappearing spoon
