I need something to read that’s a little more interesting. I DNF’d the 4th dune book (too much politics for me rn) and need something with a little more buzz.
I saw a reel suggesting Tampa by Alissa Nutting and that seems interesting. The last book I read that gave me this feeling was The Silent Patient, IK it gets a lot of hate but that’s the truth. I also liked the Sympathizer by Viet Thanh Nguyen. I thought I would enjoy The Secret History by Donna Tartt more but I was bored throughout.

If you liked The Sympathizer, you may like [Midnight’s Children](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/705209) by Salman Rushdie.

What does a trans violinist, the devil, and aliens who run a donut shop have in common? You’ll just have to read it to find out.
Dark Matter by Blake Crouch
I would recommend Pachinko – It’s quite a chunky book 350-400 pages , if I remember correctly . You already read & liked the sympathizer, I am sure you will easily breeze through this one – Its one of my favourite books 👍🏻
The Half Life of Valery K by Natasha Pulley
