I’m not looking for a book targeted towards children, but I would love a book that has at least some illustrations, like images of pirate flags, ships, cross-sections, or other cool images, such as etchings that might have appeared in newspapers at the time or photographs of swords or pistols, etc. I also want it to be non-fiction, I’m not interested in pirates stories, just their history.
I had a book when I was younger called *The Dangerous Book for Boys*, and while that was, of course, intended to be read by boys aged 15 or younger, it is exactly the kind of format I’m looking for, but targeted towards, well, adults.
Anyways, thanks in advance, I hope this results in something, I’ve been really wanting to learn some history about pirates and have a bunch of books in my Amazon cart but I don’t believe any of them are illustrated.
