So all my life I have not been a reader, at all! I am dyslexic and even tho I wanted to read it was always a struggle for me. It always took be very long to read a book and it was difficult for me to fully take in what was happening in a book.
However this has now changed for me as I have started to listen to the audiobook and read along with the physical copy at the same time and it has revolutionised my reading. I have already read 5 books this year and that is huge for me!
So back to the point of this post. What are your 5 star book recommendations of books that I just have to read. Considering I essentially have not read at all so very very small chance I have read it. Not necessarily classics, I would like some recent books too.
The genres I particularly like are LGBTQ, fantasy, science fiction, romance, drama but they do not have to stick to these at all. I am a clean slate.

There are loads of brilliant books which I’m sure you’ll get round to in time, I would suggest ‘The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo’ by Taylor Jenkins Reid as the most readable book I’ve read in recent years – I raced through it!
