I’ve been in a book slump recently. Every time I start one, I just can’t get into it and don’t finish. I’m looking for something that will grab my attention and I can’t put it down.
I like any combination of humor, horror, mystery/thriller, and historical fiction. I prefer female and/or queer authors, but not a dealbreaker. Some of my recent favorites are:
Babel, R.F. Kuang
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, V.E. Schwab
Maeve Fly, C.J. Leede
Under the Whispering Door and The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune
The Ride and Fall of D.O.D.O, Neal Stephenson and Nicole Galland
Thanks y’all!
