Looking for an accessible, engaging non-fiction book on modern African history

Hi! I’m looking for a non-fiction book on 20th century African history. Though I’d prefer a book covering the entire continent and the entire century, I’d also appreciate more narrow suggestions. Ideally not a textbook, but not opposed to a textbook if it makes sense. Thanks!
