Fiction about/related to the phenomenon of a whale fall

I love the fact that when a Whale Fall happens, a whole ecosystem is created. But, in the end, the Whale is “completely” consumed.

Any fiction related to this phenomenon? Perhaps even dystopia / postapocalyptic?
