Unrequited Love that is not resolved

Just finished Adelaide by Genevieve Wheeler which was a wonderful story about a rather one-sides relationship. No one is really demonized, but goes to show the lengths one person will go to in a relationship, regardless if it’s reciprocated on the same level. Really appreciated it.

Looking for similar stories? Even something like Normal People would be a good comparison.
