I love books in which the characters are craftsmen or training for a particular skill.
Usually characters are apprentices or are sent to work for someone. Most likely a trade that’s passed through family members or usually one of a kind in a village or town. Most of the time historical fiction/victorian but whatever is suggested I’ll look into!:)
Examples of crafts:
Writers, potters, book binders, perfumery, cobbler, taxidermist, dress maker, hatter, photographer, embroidery, artists etc
