I used to be an avid reader and would read anything I got my hands on. Fast forward to university, and I haven’t found anything I have read interesting. Usually, when I am reading, I am captivated by it and can’t wait to pick up the book if I stop reading it. I would usually read in my free time at school or at home, but now I don’t seem to find anything interesting. I do not have a favorite genre, and I have so far read books from all genres, but I can say I am not a fan of romance; there’s too much drama. I have mostly been reading epic fantasy lately, and none of them have been interesting, and I have dropped so many series.
I tried reading “The Wheel of Time” due to the Amazon show when it came out but ended up dropping it. The POV of some of the characters wasn’t that interesting, and I found myself skipping a lot. I’ve also tried reading “The Shadow of the Gods” but ended up dropping it early. I was reading “The Covenant of Steel” and quite liked it. I’m in book 2, almost done, but someone spoiled the plot of book 3 for me, and now I have lost interest. I like reading books in series as I always want to see more of the characters I love. I tried reading the reacher series and it just wasn’t for me.

The last book I read and truly enjoyed was “The Chaos Walking” trilogy by Patrick Ness. It was a page-turner, and I couldn’t put it down. If you have any book suggestions, please let me know. I am also willing to try out different genres and tropes. Also, I’m not looking for a book that’s too complicated with multiple plot points; I’m looking for something easy and simple to get me into the groove of reading
