Hi all! I got probably the most exciting announcement I’ve gotten in a while that Spotify is finally giving Canadians access to their audiobook collection with a premium subscription 🎉 so now I’m on the hunt for audiobook recommendations that I’ll try to integrate into my daily listening. I usually naturally gravitate towards fantasy, literary fiction and character driven stories, as well as nonfiction, but I really enjoy expanding my horizons with the genres I read. Before this I’d really exclusively read physical copies of books. These can also just be either audiobooks you’ve loved or books you think I should give a listen to now that I have the ability to. Sorry if this isn’t specific enough, I can always elaborate or answer questions if people have any about my specific current reading habits. Thank you all!

If you like fantasy then the Discworld audiobooks would be my suggestion.
The Dresden files are great, narrated by the actor who played Spike in Buffy, fantastic work.
For zany fantasy, Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman – the audiobooks are amazing
Murderbot diaries! My usual is listening to michael connelly books, specifically titus welliver’s narration since watching the bosch show but I loved the murderbot diaries, such a vibe.
Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver
Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn, in fact, I listened to Dark Places and Gone Girl by her on audible too and loved them all.
Riyira Revelations by Michael J Sullivan
