I need a good book recommendation. Something that is extremely sarcastic and witty (dark humor), but also has some fantasy aspect to it. I much prefer something that doesn’t have lots of dialogue and not too much romance. I’m like misunderstood characters, underdogs, and someone who’s been betrayed.

For comedy-fantasy, Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman – the audiobooks are amazing
For gritty military fantasy, The Black Company by Glen Cook

The lies of Locke Lamora. Dialogue heavy, but cunning and witty characters, some background dark magic elements that don’t overwhelm you, definitely fits the underdogs and betrayal type.
