1. Fall of Giants by Ken Follet. Loved Pillars of the Earth. Does this have its share of thrills and adventure?
2. A Place Called Freedom by Ken Follet. Same question. Also this one seems more focused and less epic/sweeping? Or am I wrong?
3. Eye of the Needle by Ken Follet. Is this more slow burn or more James Bond adventure in WW2?
4. The Bastard by John Jakes. Does this have lots of adventure? How does Jake’s compare to Follet?
5. An Honourable Thief by Douglas Skelton. Same question.
Anyway those are my options and my questions. Needless to say I like fast moving historical epics with good characters and lots of adventure. Appreciate any help.

I vote Eye of the Needle. Fall of Giants is good, too, but not as good as EotN
