I finished reading Liu Cixin’s Three-Body Problem and Ball Lightning, both of which involved hardcore science and presented concepts that were highly logical and completely eye-opening. I tried the Foundation series afterward, but it didn’t even come close to the same level. I feel the Foundation series essentially places Roman Empire stories in the future; it’s quite boring and predictable. You would think that 50,000 years into the future, things would be dramatically different, they can even fold space time for space travel but the political system has reverted to an empire, and people still cannot shake off their ego, that doesn’t add up.

Any book suggestions that can match the Three-Body Problem trilogy?
