I just finished the perks of being a wallflower in less than 4 days since getting it. I want something that is good for someone 16-19 years old. I read Stations eleven for school and really enjoyed it and read the outsiders a few years ago. I’m looking for something similar to those novels that are hard to put down.

– More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera – A thought-provoking sci-fi tinged novel that explores themes of identity, grief, and the power of memory.
– Scythe by Neal Shusterman – The first book in the “Arc of a Scythe” series, this novel is set in a future where disease and aging have been eliminated, and the only way to die is to be “gleaned” by a Scythe.
– The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie – A coming-of-age story about a young Native American boy who leaves his reservation to attend an all-white school, dealing with issues of identity, racism, and self-discovery.
