Not necessarily on your topic, but a great book is choice theory by William Glasser. It has a lot of good information you may be able to learn from or use in any situation.

I read both daughters of narcissistic mothers and the body keeps the score. The second one is more generally about trauma but it goes very in depth and it opened my mind to a lot of new ideas. Good luck with your journey, its so hard to begin to process that trauma, but imo it’s worth it.

complex PTSD: from surviving to thriving by Pete Walker, and adult children of emotionally immature parents: how to heal from distant, rejecting or self-involved parents by Lindsay C Gibson have both been of tremendous help for me. Wishing you all the best!
