Bear with me on this one. I know this is probably too vague of a question with thousands of possible books, but I’ll just throw this out and see if anyone gets me. So I’d like to find books of any genre that are just fun, books that aren’t necessarily straight comedies, but you just have a big smile on your face while reading most of it. Books with wacky or charming characters in semi to very serious situations, or unconventional genre twists. I just read (listened to, if we’re going to be super specific) Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldree and Somebody Owes Me Money by Donal E Westlake, and they both technically fit with what I mean, especially the fun banter in SOMM. Books that know how to take you on a satisfying ride, or embrace you in a comfortable world, like a good popcorn flick. Thanks for reading and hopefully I made some kind of sense.
