I like to read slice of life, classics, historical, different voices and perspectives, etc.
Lately I’ve enjoyed Convenience Store Woman, No Such Thing as an Easy Job and Didn’t Nobody Give a Shit What Happened to Carlotta.
But I’m flexible and open to different genres (apart from fantasy/sci-fi, not a big fan of those).
I need books that I will get engrossed in and will not be able to put down.
What do you all recommend, good folks?

I devoured this book. I was so much more fascinated by this fictional movie star than I ever have been by a real one.
