How many readers here find themselves consulting academic articles on books they enjoy? (Or maybe dislike?) Why or Why not? I recently read *Frankenstein* by Mary Shelley and feel like I got a lot out of the academic articles published on it. Do you feel there is a disconnect between academia and everyday readers? If so, how do you think university researcher can gear their word towards larger audiences?
