It doesn’t necessarily have to be about demonic possession but any good reads where the plot centers around demons, ancient deities, mysticism or other kinds of esoteric stuff is welcome. The deeper the mythology included the better.
I know there are a lot of titles out there that deal with this stuff but many of them are (in my opinion) just awful. I tried The Harker Chronicles series by R.D. Shaw but I quickly gave up because it was so filled with cliches and more or less a rip off of Dan Brown. So I’m looking for titles that are a step above airport novels.
