I have credits to use and can’t see anything I like. I’ll skim read almost anything but with audio the language has to be reasonably eloquent or I get bored so no low effort trashy thrillers/repetitive romances. Also not too hard to follow as I am sleep deprived.
I don’t mind children’s/YA as Im writing a children’s novel so need to read that genre anyway.
My favourite audiobooks so far have been :
Ella Minnow Pea
Night by Ellie Wiesel
The Enchanted Castle by E Nesbit
The Graveyard book and The Norse Tales by Gaiman
A short History of Drunkenness
Beowulf
Welcome to Bordertown
The Paul Temple radio plays
Proust and the Squid
About a 1/3 of those were recommended to me
