This is basically what I need, I’m on thrid year out of four (possibly gonna stretch it into five years just because) on a physics major. I’m hella tired and disappointed at my grades, wich are just average, even if you could argue it’s already a lot that I made it through three years. It just seems that whatever I do, all the effort I put, my grades are quite average.
So I need a pick me up in the form of a book, cause I will have to decide what area I want to start to specialise in, and I have no idea. I’m just disappointed on my performance and the university system, I used to be a really smart girl and I just feel dumb. Good thing I have clear on my mind that I still enjoy physics itself. If there’s a book, any format or genere that will resonate with me and act as a bit of therapy to me get through this slump it will be an enormous help.

Seveneves made me love orbital mechanics a bit. Might be a bit simple for you, but it’s Big Engineering and pretty fun.
