New(er) Romance Novel/Novella

I’m inbetween books right now and I would love a romance novel/novella to read!

It can be long or short as long as its not an entire series.

I would prefer something more recent (by that I mean NOT classical literature) because I suck at reading old english.

I like sci-fi aliens and robots (Big Transformers fan here!!), fantasy creatures, and horror monsters!! I also like witches snd fairies and all that jazz but I prefer less common beasties in my books. I avoid dark romance because theres a lot tropes there that creep me out but I’m open to new things.
