I’ve recently got into Anthony Trollope’s novels and, given the sheer size of his library, I’m looking for people’s thoughts on which ones they enjoyed most.
I started with the Barsetshire Chronicles and have just finished Doctor Thorne. I’ll be continuing those in publication order, but I want to start peppering in his others works too. Only having read those three, I haven’t yet got a full feel for the range of his work (i.e, is he like Dickens in that there’s a big distinction between early and later works?), so welcome any recommendations that might broaden my experience.
