Looking for something gripping. A real page turner to keep me engaged for a long drive.
This past year I’ve read (or listened to):
*Im glad my mom died* -interesting read. Read because it’s very popular. Real devastating story.
*One Good Deed* and *Gambling Man*—first two in David Balducci’s Archer series. Liked it. Sort of lost interest by the third book but I read both back to back so feel I need a break.
-first three or so Witcher series books. Again, liked but lost interest a few books in. Need to take breaks from series.
-first Wheel of Time book. I’ll be honest, didn’t end up finishing it. Sort of lost steam on it and never picked it back up. (Sorry WoT enthusiasts).
——-
I like podcasts as well and tend to gravitate towards shorter form stories rather than lengthy series. Non fiction or fiction is fine. Mystery, thriller, action, fantasy, horror all good. Less interested in romance or slice of life. Haven’t read habitually in a long time. So there’s plenty of books I’ve never read. Read quite a bit growing up. I remember liking the Alex Cross series and Cirque Du Freak a lot.
