I’m looking for a book that is similar to the video game “Night in the Woods”. A story about a character returning home to their small town and trying to figure out the cause of some strange happenings. I’d prefer contemporary fiction with an adult main character (since most books I find of this genre seem to feature a kids’ pov). The mystery can be of the supernatural sort or not, I don’t really care either way. Thank you!
