I’m looking for a suggestion for a novel that my family could all read at the same time this summer. Two adults and a twelve tear old boy. Looking for something none of us has read before. Not interested in Sci-Fi or Fantasy. Looking for a touching story with some humor. Here are some books we’ve read recently and liked to give you an idea of our taste:

Mom/Wife: Kala (Colin Walsh), Sam (Alexa Goodman), Coyote Sunrise (Gemeinhart)
Me/Dad: Mary Jane (Blau), Breakfast of Champions (Vonnegut), Then We Came To The End (Ferris)
