Please suggest me a well researched book or books about politics in countries that are not the USA, or books about international relations that involve the USA but the main focus is not the USA.
I’m looking for a book that presents the information in an accessible, easy to understand way. Additionally the book does not have to be specifically about the politics of the country but can be about an event that is significantly impacted by the politics in a given country, such as the Chernobyl disaster. I read Midnight in Chernobyl by Adam Higginbotham and loved the way he contextualized the disaster by explaining the government politics of the time.
I have a special interest in Latin America but am open to anything and am really interested in audiobook versions of books. Thank you!!!
