Any fantasy or sci fi series that has a family dynamic like this?

I’m looking for a ruthless but loving family who manipulate men and women to get what they want, which is more power and prestige. The family still loves each other, and they care deeply about their public image. They essentially look like the good guys, but they honestly dont care about good or evil. They just care about growing and protecting their self-interest. Smart political matchmaking would be delightful.
