Hey, all! New to the sub and hoping it’s just what I need to get me on track for a new book! I, like most people, I imagine, like a wide range of things in fiction, nonfiction, self-help, etc. Some books I’ve read that I particularly liked:
• The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
• East of Eden by John Steinbeck
• Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby van Pelt
• Red Notice by Bill Browder
• A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore (enjoyed the quirkiness of this book)
• American Radical by Tamur Elnoury
• Bad Blood by John Carreyrou (I like investigative journalism, particularly around tech. Also read American Kingpin and thought it was just okay)
• Talking to Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell
I also like to listen to series from The Great Courses. I particularly liked the one on Einstein’s Relativity.
Would love to know if there are any recommendations that jump out to anyone based on these books or courses (bonus points if there’s also an audiobook version, as I like to listen while I’m on a plane)!
