I myself have slowly been getting back into this wonderful habit. But my taste in literature is nothing like my friends. A little about him – early 20s, did 4 years in the Navy (feels it did a lot of good for him), now works in law enforcement, married, 3 young kids. I think something military or law enforcement related would be a good start so he could identify with some of it. And relatively short. Prefers non fiction but I don’t think he knows what he’s talking about when he says that. So either works.

It would be helpful if you could ask him one – three other media that he likes. TV, movie, video game… all of that will help.
