Hi everyone,
Do you have a recommendations for communication advice books especially when it comes to arguments on political/moral views?
Not looking for a debate book to “destroy someone and leave them humiliated.”
I have people I love and care about that hold views from the culture we grew up in (and yes this is my opinion) that I no longer hold. I understand their pov but I also want them to learn about my new views and understand them, even if they chose to disagree.
I would love to hold healthy conversations that are not heated and emotional (tbh, more often than not my own). To stop having debates and have more open conversations that leave room for them to disagree if they wish but not because my delivery was bad but because they heard a sound argument and made up their own minds.
