Looking for books set after death/in an afterlife

Hi! I’ve had this idea of an afterlife story stewing in my head for years now but realized I never really read much with a similar setting but it must be fairly common. So I’m looking for any fiction stories set after death—about an afterlife, some kind of purgatory, can be anything! Thanks in advance!
