I always consume fiction for enjoyment. But now i feel like it doesn’t worth my time to read only for enjoyment. Now I want to read things that can teach me human condition and life. I didn’t read many books so I would be happy even if you suggest me cliche books. And which genre I should be looking for? Thanks.

Dipping your toe into history or philosophy is always a good idea. I’d recommend something like At the existentialist cafe by Sarah Bakewell. Or for a more potentially more entertains peek into the mindset of someone very different than most, American Desperado by John Roberts and Evan Wright is a fantastic read.
