The post pretty much says it all. I’m working on a story set in the last vestiges of the “frontier” in the 1900-1920 range. I’m looking for good sources for slice-of-life type stories and details, particularly in towns that would have been on the fringes and more exposed to the remaining wilderness.
As mentioned, I’m looking at the Pac Northwest, but I’m open to information from other regions that still might contribute to getting a good sense on some of the lived-in details of daily life.
