Hey guys,
So, recently, within the last month or two, I’ve been getting into fantasy. I was strictly a Sci-Fi and horror kind of reader, and through a friend, after he suggested I watch something called Tales From Earth Sea, I stumbled my way into fantasy and I really enjoy it. It was something I never read in high school or college, and I don’t know why it’s taking me so long to get into it but I thoroughly enjoy it.
I’ve been told a man in his 40s shouldn’t be into fantasy, but, I don’t know, it feels like home.
Anyway, while I am going through the Brandon Sanderson books, are there any other books out there that contain a world of castles and wizards and dungeons or secret rooms in a castle, or under a castle, and trotting through haunted or disturbed forests, perhaps there’s magic somewhere someplace, but there’s just some sort issue with the King and he is fighting some forces that are looking to dethrone him or some ancient evil is upon the land and, I don’t know, I don’t really know what I’m asking but something like that?
