Hello one and all,
I am a fan of mystery and crime novels (Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, Frieda McFadden…). This time however, I want to take a break from my usual taste and would want another genre. However, I am confused as to what book(or genre) I should dive into. There are some books that are non-mystery that I read in the past like Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children trilogy and The Girl Who Drank the Moon. However, something is missing from those book that doesn’t stimulate me the way mystery does. I’m thinking maybe a book that has a sense of logic and critical thinking into it, only this time not-related to crime and such. And as an added note, I also want to develop my fluency in English. Tho I’m a non-native English speaker, English fluency is actually an asset here in my country (like majority of the countries).
