Hi! I’ve recently decided to go back to romance novels after two years of avoiding them. Like the title said, I need books where the main character or their partner yearn deeply, so much it drives them insane. Preferably European books, with a female author. I don’t mind the genders of the main couples and the genre doesn’t have to be just romance. It can be drama, horror, psychological, but what’s important is the crushing desparation to be loved back. (please no rape / bad ending). Also if it’s not too much to ask, I don’t want anything like “Cruel Prince” or Collin Hoover type of books.
