Part of me wishes that it was true, that you can move up easily in this world while still being an introvert. I’m learning quickly that this isn’t the truth, I’m early in my career and have been watching as people with bold personalities and extroverted tendencies get ahead, even if they’re not good at their job.
I have the work ethic, the intelligence, and the ambition. If I don’t figure out this other thing it’ll take a lot longer than I want to achieve my goals.
Can anyone recommend books on the following topics: Networking, getting people to like you, making good first impressions, holding conversations, being charming, etc.
