Sci fi?

Hi everyone, I don’t personally read Sci fi books but I’d like to buy one as a gift for a friend.. She likes space, black holes, white holes and all that.. She has recommended the movie interstellar to me.. English isn’t her first language so maybe nothing that’s too heavy.. Which one of these would be best?
