Looking for a well rated book about how depression/anxiety/general mental health is linked to nutrition/gut health, etc, or the psychology of nutrition.
Thanks!
Gut by Julien Enders (more just a general but thorough rundown of the digestive system)
Brain Maker by David Perlmutter
This is Your Brain on Food AND Calm Your Mind with Food by Uma Naidoo
The Brain Fog Fix by Mike Dow
The Anatomy of Anxiety by Ellen Vora
In Defence of Food by Michael Pollan
The Blue Zones by Dan Buettner
There’s definitely some overlap in information here so don’t feel you need to read them all. Sonnenburg is probably the most well renowned on this list but I was most impressed by Bulsiewicz’s book. I’d also highly recommend Gut by Enders regardless of your knowledge on digestive health.
