Can anyone suggest me some Non-tragic gay books? Def looking for the antithesis of A Little life. Thanks!
Currently am reading giovanni’s room which probs does not fit this category lol. But i just want some heartwarming gay books to read as an early 20s gay guy

If you don’t mind Sci-Fi this book is a lot of fun.

The House In The Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune.
And I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson – It’s been over a decade since I’ve read it so don’t remember it well but I know I thought it was good at the time.

“Swimming in the Dark” is fantastic and heavily inspired by ”Giovanni’s Room” (as in it’s referenced multiple times in the book). It’s definitely not tragic, though it’s also not a light-hearted/feel-good book either. Might be a good one to sprinkle in after getting through some fun ones!
