Not a big reader but have enjoyed a few books. If i was to say a genre i’m into it would probably be fantasy. I like things that are whimsical and kind of poetic. The last book i read was the girl that fell beneath the sea. It was a bit long but i did love the way it was narrated and it made me feel very comfortable.
Other books i have read would be 1984 and animal farm. I thought i would like 1984’s dystopian world and it was pretty good. But i found that i enjoyed Winston’s love for julia more. Animal farm was great, very funny. But i would like to lean more towards whimsy and fantasy. I love movies like howls moving castle and spirited away. I have tried game of thrones books but they’re a bit long and boring and i kind of already know what’s going to happen.
Asking cause audible is 3 months for 99p and i dont want to miss out on the deal.

[**The Bear and the Nightingale** by Katherine Arden](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25489134) should scratch that itch for you. it’s one of my most re-read books in my collection.
Stardust, Neil Gaiman. Romantic fantasy adventure.
We Have Always Lived in the Castle, Shirley Jackson. I would characterize it as dark whimsy.
The Night Circus, Erin Morgenstern. Wizards competing through magical carnival attractions, it’s beautifully written and the attraction descriptions are just gorgeous.
