Maybe, as a man, you often think: “I don’t get this woman…”, “Why is she reacting like that?”, “I said only that, why all this reaction?”.
Well, I didn’t get it either.
Then two things happened.
1. I saw the statistics of *you know what but I didn’t tell to avoid any trigger*. But let’s say it almost only happens to women. The statistics are frighteningly high in many countries and even higher in other.
2. I have read “**Coping with Trauma-Related Dissociation: Skills Training for Patients and Therapists**” by Suzette Boon, Kathy Steele, Onno Van Der Hart. This book is made for people suffering of Trauma-Related Dissociation and, this is my point, is also very efficient to teach what it is for those who don’t suffer from it. It explains how the brain is modified to integrate the bad experience and how this modify the behavior.
3. Thanks to my own brain I made a connection between 1&2
Keep people happy and keep a high quality conversation high by understanding the basis of the brain functioning: read this book.
