Suggest me a sci-fi book that breaks your brain

I absolutely loved Dark Matter and Recursion by Blake Crouch.

The stories are engaging, the science is fascinating, and the books as a whole get me in that deep existential/psychological mindset. They both were awesome audiobook experiences as well.

Two other all-time favorite sci-fi books of mine are Project Hail Mary and Dune (just read the first book so far).

I would love any book suggestions that I may have a similar experience with and also comments on my potential to-be-read list:

– Upgrade by Blake Crouch (although some were disappointed)
– Hyperion series
– Children of Time series
– Ender’s Game
– Solaris
– Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow
– Snow Crash
– Neuromancer
