My friends from college and I had a book club going during the pandemic but we couldn’t continue afterwards. We want to start again and we need some good recommendations.
Here is a list of books we’ve read and liked:
Blindness – Saramago,
The Conquest of Happiness – Bertrand (not our favorite but it was good),
The Magus – Fowles,
The Life Before Us – Romain Gary,
Psychology of Crowds – Gustave Le Bon,
The Plague – Camus,
Nausea – Sartre,
Beloved – Toni Morrison,
The Blind Assassin – Margaret Atwood,
The Stories We Are – William Randall,
The Memory Police – Ogawa,
Women Who Run With The Wolves – Clarissa Estes
We don’t really focus on a specific genre and we like books with some depth as we want to have a discussion about it but other than that anything goes.
