Hi, I read the Southern Reach trilogy by Jeff Vandermeer and I absolutely loved it. I went looking for books with similar premises and checked out a few of them but none of them resonated with me. I think what I’m looking for are books that get really really into describing stuff like Mr Vandermeer does… I was sucked into his writing because of how vividly simple and earnest his writing was when he was describing the landscapes and stuff.
Does anybody know books like that? Genre doesn’t matter a lot,
